We ask for as little as possible, and we never pass your details to a provider unless you explicitly ask us to.
What we collect
The information you give us, and basic usage data so we can improve the service.
- Answers you give about your situation, so we can personalise your plan and cost estimate
- Your name, email and phone number only if you create an account or send an enquiry
- Anonymous usage events, such as which pages are used, to help us improve
Where your plan is stored
If you have not created an account, your plan is held only in your browser on this device. Creating an account stores it against your account so you can return to it elsewhere.
Sharing with providers
We share your contact details with a funeral director only when you complete an enquiry form and tick the consent box for that specific provider. We record the time you gave consent. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact form at /contact. Under UK GDPR you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Sensitive information
Please do not enter bank details, national insurance numbers or medical details into free-text fields. We do not need them, and we ask you not to upload documents to us.
